Guest Speaker: Alan Caolo
Alan will be speaking on live bait tactics for the surfcaster. He will discuss the various baits available at different times of the year and their use for a number of target species that we pursue as Surfcasters.
Alan is a multi-talented fisherman, who utilizes many different forms of fishing to target his quarry. The constant in this equation is simple, the guy spends a lot of time on the water which translates to a good base of experience and knowledge about what happens under the surface of the water. He is a contributing author for several popular magazines, and has author two books. "Sight Fishing for Striped Bass" and "Fly Fisherman's Guide to: Atlantic Baitfish and Other Food Sources."
As always our meetings are free and open to the public.

Guest Speaker: Ron Domurat
Ron will be speaking on the Martha's Vineyard Derby. He will share the excitement that surrounds the derby each year, some of the stories, and the great people who participate in this event.
Ron is a former surf fishing guide on Martha's Vineyard and last year completed a book entitled Three Decades of the Derby. He has served on the Derby committee and is active in the Martha's Vineyard Surfcasters Association.
As always meetings are free and open to the public.

Guest Speaker: John Skinner
John is well known for his educational books on Striped Bass with his most recent edition Striper Pursuit, has an exceptional library of annotated videos on YouTube, and has designed a computer based program called FishersLog for documenting and analyzing fishing outings. His devotion to the sport of surfcasting through teaching speaks volumes of his character. We hope you will join us for this meeting, and as always the meetings are free and open to the public.
